About Jared

I have helped guide people through tough times since 2009, first as a pastor and now as a therapist. I received my undergraduate degree from Centenary College of Louisiana in Psychology, a Masters of Divinity from SMU, and a Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Wesleyan University.

I was ordained as an Elder (Pastor) in the United Methodist Church in 2013. I have served as a youth minister, college age director, worship leader, and Bible Study leader for all ages.

I have been married since 2009 years to my amazing wife, Alina. We have two children and two golden doodles. I love to cook, host friends and family, watch sports, take care of our pool, travel, and (when time allows) play my PS5.

I am passionate about helping couples navigate difficult times in their lives. I have training to use the Gottman Method for couples therapy, along with being a trained Prepare/Enrich facilitator. I am a founding Member of the Texas Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, a member of the American Counseling Association, and a Member of the Texas Counseling Association.

Texas Marriage and Family Therapist #203763 and Texas Licenced Professional Counselor #83513 (verified at Texas License Search).
